So I'm thinking of opening an Etsy store to sell some prints. Any way to make some extra money seems like a good thing to me.

Though I'm not sure if I should make a few prints first and then sell those or have a print to order system instead. It would just be inkjet prints though. I'm not sure how well that would do. :(

I worry too much I know. I just want opinions. Pls.

If you're going to go the Etsy route, I would do something more than inkjet. Go to a print shop, or you can always try someone like Flickr (have heard good things about, but have not seen the quality of their prints myself). You can always factor your costs into the final price of the print.

Good luck!

Yeah that works! I'll have to see the quality of flickr pictures too since I have no idea who they go through. Thanks!

Where are you at these days? I haven't seen you in ages. XD

SmugMug.com also does some printing... I haven't seen these either, but I probably should check them out myself. I won an art contest sponsored by them last year, and I think I can get free ones. Hmm. lol

I'm in New Orleans, girrrl. Making lots and lots of art.
I was working at BAM for awhile before I moved, so I still drop by there when I'm in Houma. On the internet, I jumped the LJ ship for Tumblr.

I think your photography is good enough to sell! A friend of mine does smugmug.com (http://skpictures.smugmug.com/). Visitors can order straight from the site--you (the artist) doesn't have to do a thing.

Thank you dear! I will check them out.

Though I was kind of wanting to be able to like personalize things but if it means less work for me that might be a good ting. XD

I think you should do a combination of the two. Offer prints in Inkjet and allow for custom printing sizes at an additional or separate charge.

Ooooh I would get something. Once, you know, I have monies that is. *cough* But yeah. I'd say go with a print to order but with something with better quality. There's places you can go to that'll print nice things out. Kinko's maybe? Get prices of different quality prints and sizes and maybe give the buyer an option of which? :)

OH and I need your email. I'm not sure if I have the right one but I wanted to email my new address. Also here. (http://crashnsing.livejournal.com/17805.html) :D
